Massive open online courses (MOOCs) let you take university-level classes from anywhere. Many are free to audit; certificates usually cost extra, and financial aid is often available.
Tip: Coursera and edX both offer financial aid that can cover a paid certificate. Apply from the course page, and expect a short wait for approval.
